When she graduated of Yale University New Haven Connecticut in the year 1980, she earned an undergraduate degree in African American Studies, she went on to earn a Master's Degree (1983) from the Yale School of Drama. At Yale she came across Courtney B. Vance a actress who was a friend of hers. They got married in 1997. Qualification: B.A. degree in African-American studies in the year 1980. Angela Bassett currently works in one of her lead characters, Ramonda, in the action-adventure film i.e. Black Panther: Wakanda Forever (2022).
